The construction work of 4.47 km long road with a width of 6 meters has been started in Mulla Zadkhil area of Kapisa province. The project will cost 36 million Afs and will be funded by World Bank.
Paiwandgah’s Citizen Journalist Ajmal Aryan reported that the road will be asphalted by World Bank through national program of rural roads construction by the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation. The construction work was inaugurated by some MPs, members of provincial council, and dozens of residents.
The road will connect Hisa-e-Awal and Hisa-e-Dowom districts to provincial capital, which will solve the problems of thousands of residents.
Muhammad Iqbal Safi, an Afgan MP, and Muhammad Usman Haqyar, district governor of Hisa-e-Dowom said that after completing the project, people will find it easy to commute. They also stressed on the quality of the construction work. click to read
